As one of Myra’s Project Engineers, you will be responsible for completing construction and engineering of projects by organizing and controlling all elements of a project. Your ultimate responsibility is to bring a budgeted and successful project to life while satisfying all needs.
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project members to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
Current engineer license.
Proven working experience as a project engineer, at least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
It’s a bonus if you have experience in housing and warehouse project.
Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD.
Advanced MS Office skills.
Familiar with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
Able to work with multiple discipline projects.
Good project management and supervision skills.
Able to lead and make make strong decisions.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
